Trevor started as an apprentice motor mechanic in 1985 at the Melbourne Holden Dealership. He finished his apprenticeship in 1989 and went to Holden's Engine Development Department. This position included complete engine tear downs, experimental engine builds and general fabrication. In 1995 moving to leading hand, duties included test trip on new models, engine development and working in dyno operations. In 2002 moving into field experiment, involving commissioning new equipment and co-ordinating engine builds. In 2004 Trevor was promoted to engine build co-ordinator and new car and model vehicle tester, liasing with engineers and mechanics. In 2005 he moved to the durability garage as leading hand, duties involving maintenance and modifications to prototype vehicles. In 2007 Trevor with his partner opened Ultimate Tiles in Echuca. He stayed on with Holden untill 2009, before starting with Brad and Karen at Riverside Boats and Leisure specialising in all inboard servicing and repairs whilst learning outboards from 'The Gun'.
